Kay Gunter

Elizabeth Kay Gunter was an outstanding conservative leader from Clarke County. Kay advocated for conservative principles and championed the conservative cause for the “Right to Life”. Kay held many offices within the Commonwealth of Virginia for the Republican party, including Chairwoman of Clarke County Republican Committee, Delegate for State Central Committee, President of Winchester, Frederick, Clarke, Republican Women, and Virginia Delegate to the Republican National Committee. She was courageous and showed tremendous leadership in a world where Biblical principles are often placed by the wayside. Kay had extraordinary success in her political accomplishments, including being honored on the floor of Congress by Congresswoman Barbara Comstock on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
