Interested in being a sponsor?

We would like to offer an opportunity for our members to “sponsor” a luncheon for one of our invited guests. The sponsors will be announced at the luncheon and thanked for their generosity. These guests could be the speakers, their guest, their campaign manager, the winners of the Kay Gunter Memorial Scholarship and their family members, etc.

November 11th, 2026 Karen Heck - Retired Lieutenant Colonel, USMC

 

In honor of Veterans Day, our guest speaker will be Karen Heck, Lieutenant Colonel, USMC (Ret.), 1977 - 1999.

Commissioned in 1977, Karen became an FAA certified Air Traffic Controller and was the first woman to be assigned to the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Iwakuni, Japan. During Desert Storm, she worked in the Marine Corps Operational Command Center and developed the policy for the first active recall of the Reserves since the Korean War. She spent the rest of her career working with Congress and DoD on policy issues.
